17th Annual Simple Green Coastal Cleanup Recap
Simple Green® is proud to announce the results of the 17th Annual Coastal Cleanup at the Bolsa Chica Wetlands:
450 Clean Up participants, including 70 Sunshine Makers and their families, accomplished the following:
— Removal of 8,750 cigarette butts
— Removal of 15 tons (30,000 lbs.) of non-native ice plant
— Filled 1 40’ cargo container with trash & debris
— Filled 1 20’ container with trash & debris
— Filled 2 10’ dumpsters with trash & debris
— Collected 275 bags of trash, filling 10 pick-up trucks
Grace Adams, Executive Director of the Conservancy said that this was “the largest turnout in the history of the Bolsa Chica Conservancy.”
